Medical Insurance. Medical, dental, vision – we pay 75% of employee coverage and 27% of dependent coverage. We offer three levels for employees to choose from which allows customization based on personal circumstances.
BP Alaska anticipated celebrating 60 years of Alaska operations in 2020 and asked MSI to develop a commemorative book a year ahead of time. The company wanted to give back to its many employees in a way that allowed their legacy and contributions to Alaska to be recounted in print form.
MSI became Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport’s communications partner in 2019, and we embarked on a rebranding journey. Our goals included simplifying the airport’s tongue-twisting name and designing a mark that was bold, easily recognizable and reflective of the airport’s global cargo potential.
Alaska Railroad and MSI began a partnership in 2021 and started revamping the company’s campaigns for passenger and freight service. We were presented with the challenge of keeping messaging fresh, captivating and targeted to our audiences – a challenge we met with photography-centric creative and descriptive messaging highlighting the things the railroad does best.
DEC’s Division of Air Quality received a grant to provide public air quality education, including helping residents understand different phases of air quality alerts.
In 2019, MSI began work on a business problem for a first-time client. Cliff Point Estates, which encompasses a 400-acre residential development in Kodiak, needed help selling lots to affluent buyers from around the world.
Sealaska challenged MSI to create a booklet for young adults and their parents, prospective interns, shareholders and potential scholarship recipients that would leave a lasting impression on them.
PFD Sale -. Alaska Airlines. The PFD Sale is an annual tradition loved and highly anticipated by all Alaskans. Each year, we seek to provide unique creative announcing this exciting sale and we broadly place it across all media channels statewide. For 2022, a high-impact, bold-patterned graphic style was used to stand out in visual media.
In 2019, our client Alaska Process Industry Careers Consortium was ready to take the next step in fulfilling their mission to provide industry-driven workforce development.
Visit Anchorage brought MSI to the table to develop a national campaign spanning advertising and website updates that would help the organization define a new voice.
Laurie founded MSI Communications in 1995 with one client and exactly zero employees. Over two decades, she built her agency into the state’s leader in creative advertising and exceptional account services, representing both Alaskan-owned companies and multi-national corporations doing business in the state.
Kris has a bachelor’s degree in communications and English from the University of Minnesota. In true Kris fashion, she starts every day with an early morning (very, very early) burst of physical activity. Be it a run on the trails, teaching spin class or hitting the pool, she proudly wears the nickname “Energizer Bunny.”.
